SuiteAmerica is revolutionizing the corporate housing industry by announcing the launch of its Marketplace Platform.

SuiteAmerica, a California Employee-Owned Company, announced today that they are embarking on a technology venture that will bring a standard operating framework to the corporate housing industry.

Ashok Kandipati, SuiteAmerica’s Head of Technology, emphasized that this technology is built from the ground up by a corporate housing company specifically for the corporate housing industry. Kandipati says, “SuiteAmerica has a culture of building its own software over the last 20 years and has built various platforms to streamline business and enhance the guest experience.”

In the spirit of advancing the temporary accommodations space, SuiteAmerica is planning to open its software to industry peers. This will create a common technological standard, enabling corporate housing companies to use the SuiteAmerica ecosystem to advance their own operations and offer innovative products to their customers.

Kelly Cockrell, SuiteAmerica’s Vice President of Sales, says, “We believe this is an important step to strengthen the entire temp housing industry. At the same time, this will also provide a solution to the inherent issue of supply chain inventory exchange. We’ve already built the technology, so our approach will save our corporate housing peers time and money. The consumer side of this business is dominated by a small handful of platforms, like Airbnb, and we see this as a tremendous opportunity for the corporate housing industry to have its own platform.”

Launching in 2021, the platform will allow corporate housing operators to share and exchange inventory in a cloud-based environment in real time, providing corporate customers and consumers with the largest warehoused selection of temporary housing. 

One Centralized Platform

“We recognized that our industry has been impacted by multiple sourcing platforms and there was no single location where a customer – or our corporate housing partners – could go to easily pick up a furnished unit on the spot,” says Jim Masten, SuiteAmerica’s CEO. “Our platform solves that challenge because it will be a centralized repository for the corporate housing companies’ available inventory in real-time. And it will be at a lower cost of sale than the other sourcing platforms that are out there now,” says Masten.
